What this covers These are the terms you use Pomato under: what the app does for you, and what it does not promise. What you are permitted to do with the app itself is covered by the licence your copy came under — for an App Store copy that is Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which Settings has a row for. Using the app means accepting both. If you do not, the remedy is to delete it — there is no account to close.

What Pomato is A Pomodoro focus timer. It counts down, it tells you when a session ends, it keeps a list of what you meant to do, and it counts up what you have done. It is not a medical device, not a treatment for anything, and not advice — professional, clinical or otherwise. If you are using it as part of managing a condition, that is between you and whoever is helping you with it.

Your content is yours The tasks you write and the sessions you record belong to you. They stay on your device, no rights over them are claimed, and nothing in these terms gives anyone a licence to them — see the Privacy Policy for where they live and how to delete them.

What a timer cannot promise Pomato counts down and shows you on screen when a session ends. It sends no notification and rings no alarm, so it cannot reach you if you have put the phone down, switched to another app, or locked the screen — you have to be looking at it. So: do not rely on this app where missing the end of a session would cause harm. It is a nudge to come back to your work, not an alarm to be trusted with anything that matters.

Provided as it is The app is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Some places do not allow those to be excluded; where that is so, this paragraph does not apply to you.

Limits on liability To the fullest extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from using the app — including lost work, missed deadlines, or focus history lost to a device failure. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes to the app Features may be added, changed or removed in a future version, and these terms may change with it. The version you are shown here is the one that applies to the version you have — the app never rewrites its own terms under you, because it cannot fetch anything.

If you got this from the App Store Your copy is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and Settings has a row that opens it. This agreement is between you and the developer, not Apple: the developer alone is responsible for the app, its content, and any support or warranty claim about it. Apple is not a party to these terms but is a third-party beneficiary of them, and may enforce them against you. Where Apple's terms and these ones cannot both be satisfied, Apple's govern that copy.
