Pomato is made by Fundr. Studio ("we"). This policy explains what the Pomato app for Android does with your information.

The short version Pomato collects nothing. There is no account, no server, and no code in the app that sends anything anywhere. Everything it knows about you stays on your device, and uninstalling the app deletes it.

What is kept on your device Three things, all of them written by you and none of them leaving the phone. Your timer settings — focus and break lengths, the cycle, the switches in Settings and Ambient. Your task list, as you typed it. And your focus history: one record per finished session, holding the day it happened, the moment it ended and how many minutes it ran. That history is what Analytics counts, and it is the only reason it is kept at all.

Where it is kept In the app's own private storage, which the operating system walls off from other apps. It is not encrypted beyond whatever your device already does for app data, and it is included in a device backup if you have those turned on — that backup is between you, your device and whoever you have asked to hold it. Nothing here reaches us, because there is no "us" for it to reach.

What is never collected No name, no email address, no account, no contacts, no location, no photos, no microphone, no advertising identifier, no device identifier, and no usage analytics. The app ships with no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash reporter, so there is nothing in it that could report on you even by accident.

Links out of the app One row in Settings opens Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement in your browser. Following it hands a web address to your browser and nothing else — no information about you goes with it — and from that point you are on Apple's site under Apple's privacy policy rather than this one.

Children Pomato is suitable for all ages. It collects nothing from anyone, so it collects nothing from children either, and there is nothing in it to share, buy, or be shown an advertisement in.

Deleting your data Analytics has a control that clears your focus history and the streak with it. Tasks can be un-ticked, ticked off, or removed in a batch with "Clear done". Deleting the app removes all of it at once, settings included, with nothing left behind on any server because none of it was ever on one.

Changes to this policy This document ships inside the app, so the version you are reading is the one that describes the version you have. If a future release changes what is stored or introduces anything that leaves the device, this policy changes in the same release and the date above moves with it.

Contact Questions about this policy can go to the support contact on the app's App Store or Google Play listing, which is the same person who wrote this.
